Calming

You may or may not have noticed that I'm a somewhat emotional person. I've had some frustrations this week dealing with some drama, and I had to do something to calm myself. So this is what I do:I go make something! In this case, it's the advice book for one of the brides. We had everyone at her shower write some advice on little cards, and I'm embellishing a photo album to put them in. I also need to print some photos to include, but I really can't stand the online software that Walmart and Superstore use, and the one time I tried London Drugs, all the photos were really grainy. So I don't know where I am going to print them. After I took the picture of the ugly side of my backyard yesterday, I noticed that there was some stuff hanging from our light next to the door. I had also noticed earlier that there was an awful lot of bird activity, and a robin or two kept flying back and forth across the backyard. Apparently, we have a nest! I swear I heard some tiny chirping yesterday, but despite numerous pictures, I can't see what's in the nest. But it's so exciting! We rarely use that light anyway, and they don't seem to be too bothered by the door opening and closing right next to them.

  1. What a crazy place to build a nest! It looks like it could fall at any time.
