New Artwork and New Baby

So, my friends, this is what I did with my pre-distressed frame that I bought on Saturday. I got the pictures from Flickr (I only searched for ones that are available for download, so I don't think I did anything illegal...but if I did, I think I need help! First the roses, now the pictures...lock your cars, everyone!). The pictures are printed on plain cardstock, not photo paper. I really like how the green complements the wall colour. It is exactly what I wanted for our bathroom. Very peaceful and spa-like, I think. It is hung opposite the large mirror, above the towel rack. Hiding a Very Bad Plaster Job.
I finally got to meet Baby L! She's so tiny and skinny-newborn-ish! It's amazing how small babies look before they get plump. And she feels like she weighs about as much as JK's leg. JK tried to steal the tissue and cellophane from L's gift. When she wasn't allowed that, she contented herself with Aunty T's keys. JK with Aunty T (who does NOT look like she just had a baby. She looks terrific!): The new mama and baby: I'm so happy I finally got to see this sweet baby. JK now has 5 girl boy cousins yet.
Thanks for all the great suggestions on what to do with my ugly spot. I think for now I've decided to paint it the same colour as the wall and see how it looks. That's the way I was leaning initially anyway.

  1. Love what you did with the frame! That is a seriously cute baby! I love all the hair!!

  2. Good morning Jo :)

You're the one that's sweet! Thank you for saying that though :)

What a beautiful baby and momma! I miss mine being that little.

I don't think anyone needs to lock their car doors LOL

  3. Oh my gosh, that baby is too cute. I love the hair and I could even smell her through the computer screen. All pink and fresh and sort of a Canadian aroma about her (in a good way).

Time for you to have any other baby, Jo?

  4. I love that frame & pictures.

And the baby goes without saying....BEAUTIFUL!

  5. I love the pictures in that frame- very spa like indeed!! Hey, it could be worse- you could be breaking into houses!!! LOL!! You are on your way! LOL!!!
What a precious baby! And no- mommy does NOT look like she just had a baby! How is that fair??
Does it make you want another one??
JK..... oh she is so precious! I never tire of seeing pictures of her. She looks like such a happy, pleasant baby!
    -Heather :)
