"Absolutely flawless 3 bdrm townhouse located in fantastic complex. This home has numerous upgrades including 2 brand new bathrooms, brand new paint, baseboards, lights, switches, and doors. Upstairs master bdrm is huge w/ great closet space. Main floor features wood burning fireplace. Basement is fully finished. Back yard is fully fenced w/ gorgeous unistone patio. This entire property beams w/ pride of ownership, spotless at all times!! Expect to be impressed!! Shows a 10 All this and central air conditioning too!!"Is this much enthusiasm/exaggeration even ethical? Spotless, eh? I hardly think so! And just because the doors aren't original to the house doesn't make them "new". Oh well, it's not my fault. I just worry that people will be disappointed when they actually see the house because it doesn't live up to the hype. But then, I'm sure I'm much more critical of my house than they would be, since I know everything that is wrong with it. Regarding our duplex, we accepted the seller's counter offer. But if anyone ever should use a realtor, these people are it. They didn't even read the contract before they signed it, which caused them to add a "seller's condition" that we would have never agreed to (and which was already addressed in the contract) after we had already signed off on the rest of their changes. Our lawyer is supposed to sort that out. Enough about that. They are otherwise very nice, friendly people.
*****Check out these gorgeous dishes from April Cornell. I didn't know she did dishes. I've always loved her gorgeous fabrics. Click on the pictures to to to the appropriate pages.
*****I haven't been doing much creative stuff lately. I've been focussing on house stuff lately. Today I finished painting the basement stairwell. I have been knitting a little though, while KD and I watch TV in the evenings. If what I'm making turns out, I'll show it to you.
