I've started drying my winter supply of mint for tea. When we first looked at this house, my immediate thoughts about the beam between the kitchen and living room were about drying herbs! Kevin thinks it's weird and possibly gross.
I have a great crop of mint this year. We planted some last fall that Kevin's grandma gave us. This spring it hadn't spread much yet until Kevin, thinking that it was a weed or suckers from our lilacs, weedwhacked the mint down to the ground. I knew it would come back, but I didn't realise how prolific it would be just from that one weedwhacking episode.
I was the blessed recipient of some of Joanna's mint tea, and I must say, it is DELICIOUS!!!
