My spice cupboard looks EXACTLY like yours! Sorry, I can't help you out.
My mom wrapped shoe boxes in cupboard paper. A narrow shoebox at the back can easily accomodate a row of the short jars. Depending on the heights, you could even do two levels.Other than that... maybe a lazy susan?Looks like your second shelf (above) could also use a lift to create two levels. (Plate holders - WalMart maybe?)
I've wanted to redo my spice cabinet for awhile. What I want to do is buy some magnetic spice storage containers and have them all on the fridge or a strip of magnet on the wall.Something like this: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/80102919.
My mom has this thing called a spice stack rack...you can buy them on amazon. It works really well and keeps things organized. It wouldn't hold any odd-sized or extra large container, but the others would be neat and tidy.
Yeah, my spices are on a little turn table I bought from Target, and it works really well!
I found one on Kijiji for $20, it works pretty good but does take up some counter space!!!http://www.livingstylish.dk/media/catalog/product/cache/3/image/600x600/9f79306a3a5b334d243a7f16966b7a3c/G/E/GE-256800400_1.jpg
oh but the only problem with that one is the letters are starting to wear off so i have to tape labels of spices to the jars if i want to keep track of what everything is!!
