Christmas Gifts

I'm finally posting pictures of a couple of the things I made for Christmas gifts this year.  There are a couple of other things too, but I forgot to take pictures of some, and one thing has our last name on it so I can't post it here.  You may have already seen it on Facebook if you know me.

The idea for the jars above came from here

This is for my niece, Baya.  She hasn't received it yet, but she's only six so I doubt she'll see this post.  There will be another Beauty and the Beast-themed shirt for her sister but I made a mistake on that one, so I have to go buy another colour of paint to fix it.  Their brother will also get a shirt, but it won't be princess-related.  His is done, but I haven't taken a picture of it yet.

Tip for freezer-paper stenciling: Always use a brush, not your fingers, no matter how small the area is!  I used my fingers for the yellow flower, and the paint bled under the freezer paper.

Juli said: "Mommy, take a picture of me and Daddy!"   I think she's enjoyed the extra Daddy-time this past week.  We've all been dreadfully sick (except for Kevin), so he has been a great nurse/errand boy.  He heads back to work tomorrow.

This was Nick's first time wearing actual clothes since Christmas Day.  He's been in pyjamas all day instead, even the two times we went to the doctor.

Now that I'm feeling better, I have a pile of things to do...editing, writing, and book-reviewing.
