Vintage-ing Photos

In the past week I discovered Plixlr and I've been having fun creating little elements, such as my ad-size samples and my Canadian Blogger badge.  Today I discovered something fun!  I can't use Instagram, but now there's Pixlr-o-matic!  So I played with some of my pictures.   You can do pretty much any effect and make your photo look vintage.  I'm not sure what the spotted one is supposed to portray though!

Remember that every comment on any post is counted as an entry in the Vintage-Inspired Giveaway! Of course, feel free to comment even if you don't want to enter the giveaway!

  1. What lovely photos, Jo! But I am really just commenting so I can get my hands on that gorgeous vintage apron. One day I hope to make something as beautiful as that myself! :)

  2. This is a great tool, Jo. Thanks for sharing it. I'm heading over there right now to see what I can create. I just discovered Big Huge Tools to help me create mosaics with my photos and am loving it.

    1. I'll have to check out Big Huge Tools! I recently learned how to make mosaics in Picasa, and I love it. That's what I used to make my facebook page's profile picture. (You should go check it out! ;-) See the link in the menu.)

  3. Gorgeous pictures! I like the photo of the bread. I'll have to check out Pixlr, as I've also been having fun playing with my pictures in photo editing programs. :)
