What I Wore

pleated poppy

I'm trying something new today.  I love learning about fashion from different bloggers.  It's so much more real than reading a fashion magazine.  I get so much inspiration from women like Nina, Abbie, and Sarah, along with many others (and Pinterest!)

Lindsey at The Pleated Poppy has a link party called What I Wore Wednesday.  I've wanted to participate for a while, but I've always hesitated.  My excuses were my poor photography skills, and self-consciousness (my friends and family read this blog!)

In my someday magazine, I want to include some fashion element, so I thought I'd go for it.  But be forewarned: You'll be seeing a lot of my boots and skinny jeans!

So, here's Monday:

Navy top and jeans: H&M
Tank top: Old Navy
Boots: The Shoe Warehouse
Necklace and earrings: Tangibles & Touchables

And here's my Valentine outfit from last night.  We went out for dinner at Ric's Grill.

Shirt dress: H&M (are you starting to see a theme?)
Fuchsia tights: Joe Fresh
Earrings: Dulcet Design (I won them in a blog giveaway)
Necklace: home made, kind of.  I'll have to do a post about it.  It includes a necklace, a bracelet, a little charm, an emerald ring, and an antique skeleton key.
Bangle bracelets: The gold-ish colour ones are from The Bay (Jessica Simpson), and the silver ones were a gift.

Remember that every comment on any post is counted as an entry in the Vintage-Inspired Giveaway!  Of course, feel free to comment even if you don't want to enter the giveaway! Make sure I have a way to contact you if you're the winner!

    1. Thanks Heidi! I haven't seen Kirstine for about 20 years and still hold her in awe as the grown-up cousin ;-) I'm happy to be compared to her!
