What I Wore...on Sunday

pleated poppy

Ok, this week I don't have much to share with you as far as what I actually wore.  I only took pictures on Sunday.  Although what I wore on Monday was cute too.  Kevin was my reluctant photographer.

Dress and leggings and sweater: H&M
Cami: Smart Set
Boots: Shoe Company

I've been a bit too focussed on the baby shower decorations this week.  The shower is on Monday, which you would think would be a lot of time.  But I won't be able to work on anything shower-related after Thursday.  But I got a lot accomplished last night, and I think it's all going to turn out.  My favourite part so far is the cloud mobile.

I do, however, have a fashion-related question. We're going to Mexico in a few months for our 10th anniversary.  I have very few summer clothes, so I'll need to do a little shopping before we go.  But I don't know what to buy!  So what are your favourite summer clothes?  ...Favourite beach clothes?  ...Favourite place to shop?  (Ok, so that's three questions)

Remember that every comment on any post is counted as an entry in the Vintage-Inspired Giveaway! Of course, feel free to comment even if you don't want to enter the giveaway! Make sure I have a way to contact you if you're the winner!

And come back on Friday to link up your favourite posts of the week!

  1. Gorgeous as always! For Mexico - make sure you have a couple of bathing suits and I always have a couple of different cover-ups so I feel like I'm not wearing the same thing to the beach every day. A couple of summery dresses for evening, a wrap or sweater in case it's cooler at night, one pair of heels (to make you feel sexy) and some shorts and t-shirts. I always over pack, never wear everything I bring, so now I pack really light. NOBODY will notice if you wear the same thing twice.

    Have fun shopping.

  2. Ooooh, Mexico - you lucky thing!! I've never been there. I guess shopping-wise, you want to get things that will work well when you get back too. I love maxi dresses, vest tops and sandals. Possibly all at once!!!

  3. Your outfit is lovely, you look very pretty and feminine. How fun that you are going to Mexico, have a wonderful time with your hubby.
And please enter me in your giveaway, and thanks so much for your comment on my kitchen today, I am going to see if you have any photos here of your turquoise kitchen. Don't you just love turquoise? Such a very lovely colour.
    Hugs, Cindy

  4. That's a very cute outfit! My favourite places to shop at Reitman's and Ricki's and SmartSet, though I'm not sure they'll have summer stuff in yet... soon, right? :) I like capris and tank tops for summer. As for the beach, I'd totally recommend a cute swimsuit cover. I don't have one, but I've seen some nice ones that I'd like to get. Something to wear over your swimsuit so that if you do want to go swimming, you can, and if you don't, you still look cute hanging out on the beach or heading to and from it. :)

  5. I have a hard time figuring out my own wardrobe :) so I'll just say have a great time in Mexico. Sounds exciting!
