I've been feeling dissatisfied with my blog's look lately. I want it to be more modern and graphic. The problem is, I don't know how to create the gorgeous graphics found on other people's beautiful blogs! But the one thing I can make is stripes. So I decided to create a new stripy background for my blog. While I was at it, I figured I'd make more colours and share them. This is what I came up with. What do you think? Which colour do you like best? Feel free to use these stripety images! (can you tell I'm a mom of preschoolers? Too much Tigger!)

ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm glad you like them! It's a lot easier to update the background on blogger now than it was when I first started! Just go to the template designer. On wordpress/typepad/etc, I have no idea ;-) I did made the Pin Me button. I did make it on Pixlr. You're welcome to use it if you like!
DeleteI love the stripes, Joanna! Thanks for sharing them with all of us in blogland. I like them all, but the yellow you selected for your background is so happy and... springy! In the non-Tigger sense *lol
ReplyDeleteLove the stripes! I love raspberry, thanks for sharing Joanna.

Love the green - but you knew I would looking at my blog.
ReplyDeleteI adore stripes. And polka dots. Combined with pastel colors it is happy perfection. Well done.
ReplyDeleteSpring must be the time for wanting a new look on your blog. I just completely redecorated my blog...new background, new header, new tagline, new favicon....the works! I love the stripes you made, especially the yellow and white you used on your blog. Looks great!!!

Happy Mother's Day, Joanna!
ReplyDeleteAlso, wanted to show you what your lovely striped background helped me build. Leslie (our on-site floral designer and owner of Sugar Blossoms) was describing what she'd like for her new website design, and your "stripety's" helped fulfill the vision! Check it out at http://www.sugar-blossoms.com/
P.S. I have a crush on Tigger... but don't tell anyone *lol
Wow, the site looks so pretty! I'm so glad you were able to use them. Thanks for letting me know!
