I got to go shopping this weekend for my birthday, so I had to stop at Anthropologie. I've only been there a few times since it opened, because even the sale items are usually out of my price range. But since it was for my birthday, I decided to go. I'm now the owner of the above shorts, although I don't look nearly as cute as the model in that photo. I wanted the denim-coloured one originally, but since it was clearance, they didn't have my size. I love these ones too, and now I can say I wear Anthro! As for the rest of my purchases, it was just some jeans, a skirt, and a few tank tops. The mall was filled with throwbacks to 1987, which made it difficult to shop amid all the neon, short-shorts, and battenburg lace.
I really wanted to get this dress, but it's not in the sale room yet. It's amazing that everything I try on in Anthropologie is flattering, even if it doesn't fit quite right.

I've never bought anything from Anthro even though I love the style, I hate their (over)priving.
ReplyDeleteI bet you looks super cute int he shorts. BTW - I thought of you yesterday when we were at a winery - there was a girl there in her floral dress with cowboy boots and hat - I even thought it was you for a second.
I had those shorts!!!...when I was 16!!! It's so funny how styles come around again.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Anthro - I know, I know, shame on me!! I don't even know where the nearest branch is - I really should find out!! I am lusting after those shorts!!

I know what you mean... some of their things can get pretty pricey!
ReplyDeleteI just started bringing in the hardware (cabinet pulls, knobs etc.) that Anthropolgie carries to sell at my boutique! I love them and they would sell out so darned fast.
P.S. LOVE the shorts... may have to make a trip to A and see what's on sale!
