Migraine. Can't think. Migraine. Drive to and from hospital to visit Mom. Migraine. Feed children. Migraine. Put Nick to bed. Migraine. Have nap. Migraine. Feel guilty about not getting anything done today. Migraine.
That's been my day so far. The rest of it will include having supper at the church, then looking after a couple of adorable little boys in the nursery while my kids go to their classes. And I hope it won't include the migraine.

Thanks so much for visiting and commenting! Clothes pins for a labour day party would be cute. I like these mini ones.
DeleteFeel better, Jo. There's nothing worse than trying to get through the day with a migraine.
ReplyDeleteLove the clothespins - did you paint them?
Yep, I painted them. I didn't do a very thorough job, but it worked.
DeleteOh, My God, how can you function?
ReplyDeleteAre you feeling better today?
I don't have migraines often, but my doctor finally found something works for me: novo-ketorolac 10mg. It is an anti-inflammatory, like a pain killer but you need a prescription for it. Maybe ask you doctor next time you talk to him, it could be an option for you? Migraine pills did not work for me. I started getting migraines when I turned 30. Now at 45 they are less frequent. The pill is to be taken only once a day as needed. I hope you are better. I loved the clothespin.
Thanks, Claudine. I am feeling much better. I've gotten used to functioning with a migraine. I'm just glad I don't have to go to work with them any more. Thanks for the info about the pill. I'll have to ask my doctor next time. Migraine-specific pills haven't worked for me any better than tylenol, so I don't use them. I stick with a combination of extra-strength tylenol and advil liquid gels. One or the other usually works, and if I get really desperate, I take them both at the same time. (doctor-approved, of course!)
