A Rainy Day in the Garden

Front Yard

larkspur

forget-me-nots with a stray violet

I have no idea what this plant is, but it only grows in the area that I threw a bunch of
different seeds a few years ago.  Of course I can't remember what the seeds were.

White double peonies.  Juliana thinks they're tomatoes.

Backyard

Kevin's lovely boardwalk that he built last fall.  And the new garden bed it created for me!
It's still really lumpy and full of grass, but we're working on it.

My bamboo trellis, with one clematis.  I'll add another on the other side.

Herb garden: garlic chives, chives, basil, cilantro, parsley, oregano, and dill.

  1. Thanks for linking up to the All Star Block Party blog hop, Jo. Your garden is definitely coming along nicely. I think your mystery plant is a weed - looks similar to something I just tore out of my garden!

  3. Lovely! Your clematis and herb garden are especially exciting to me. And I love that you "found" a new slice of gardening real estate next to that cool board walk!! LOL Awesome. Visiting from Heater's site! : ) ~thelazyw blog

  4. I'm not sure if your mystery plant is a weed or flower. I have lots of weeds but I call them wild flowers:) sometimes they're just as pretty as a 'real' flower. Your gardens are lovely.
